If there is one thing that I really
enjoy in my life, it would have to be spending time with my family. I grew up
with 4 brothers and 3 sisters and lived in a house with only 4 bedrooms. It was
a crazy household but I loved living together and being able to have so many
options in who I wanted to talk to. I believe that life is too short and that
we should enjoy every single second of it with our loved ones. Which is why I
have this huge cringe when I see people hanging out or a family being all
together and yet every single one of them is on their phone.
Technology is taking over the
world! When I was a kid, my siblings and I would be outside every day riding
our bikes, playing soccer, street football, and playing with marbles, just to
name a few things; that was the best childhood ever!! Now a days, I hardly ever
see that in the streets anymore but what I have been noticing for a while now
are a group of friends on their phone. One will be snap chatting, ones on Facebook,
the other on Instagram and of course, one will be texting instead of having a
conversation with one another.Don’t get me wrong, I have all of
those apps on my phone but I believe that there is a time when we could all be
on there. I know for me, when I am out and about with my friends or family, I
leave my phone in my purse or in the car and when I have some down time and I am
at home, I will get my phone out or if I am by myself.
All I am saying is that one should really think about this
next time you go out. If you are waiting in a doctor’s office, don’t be afraid
to start a conversation with the old man next to you, they have some awesome
stories!!!
